It has been a very rough summer. Aside from working an average 60-70hrs a week, the searing heat of July and exhaustion, this has been a small-riding summer for me.
June 13th was the Air Force cycling classic in which I had barely any time to train for. I signed up for the 62.2 miler, but just shy of lap for (about 25 miles) I had a really bad flat......retire. BUT it was a record breaking pace for me as I paced slightly less than a 3minute mile. 3laps 24 miles in 54minutes - that's fast for me.
Afterwards, july was extremely hot with 16 days above 100F and I only had a total of 3 days off for the month of July and worked a total of 310hrs in July - insanity!!!
So these days, if I can average up to 60 miles a week - I am golden.
On the other hand, Weeze Bikes did a couple of bike builds. Yes Weeze Bikes - I will explain later.
